Subsidi dan cukai

Rakyat malaysia tidak kira kaum mahukan kerajaannya memberi kemudahan seperti negara negara maju. Tetapi mereka tidak pernah membandingkan peratusan cukai negara negara maju dan juga sama ada negara maju memberikan subsidi kepada rakyatnya.

Kalau dibandingkan, rata rata rakyat malaysia membayar cukai tidak sampai 20% daripada gaji. Cuba lihat dan kira sendiri peratusan cukai yang dibayar daripada jumlah gaji anda. Selagi kita tidak membayar cukai yang tinggi rasanya kita tak mempunyai hak untuk meminta kemudahan taraf negara maju.

Perihal subsidi pula, subsidi minyak yang kerajaan berikan pada rakyat hanya menguntungkan orang2 yg mempunyai kereta yang berinjin kuasa tinggi.. Jadi kepada siapakah kelebihan subsidi minyak sebenarnya? Berpuluh billion boleh digunakan untuk pembangunan jika kita menghapuskan subsidi. Begitu juga dengan subsidi gula, tepung dan beras.

Mungkin sudah sampai waktunya kerajaan menaikkan cukai dan mengurangkan subsidi kepada rakyat?

PRO/CONS in VOTING PR

I’m listing my reasoning to vote for or against Pakatan Rakyat for the Next election.

PROS

1) Less corruption – they have yet in power and we can’t see much of corruption happening in pakatan states.

2) They seemed to care about the well being of rakyat – showed when Penang Government raised the Religious teacher allowances after the election.

3) Transparency in giving out government contracts

4) No overinflated project – funds are just enough to support the project and enough for the contractors to make money.

5) Fair media access to BN if PR in power (based on their demands in BERSIH)

6) Increase of Minimum wage in Government sector

CONS

1) Nepotism – can see it everywhere in DAP and PKR.

2) Possibility of constitutional amendment on :
i) Bumiputra Status
ii) Bahasa Malaysia as bahasa kebangsaan
iii) Islam as the official religion

3) More chinese and tamil schools – no hope in uniting Malaysians based on language.

4) Songkok and baju melayu will not be compulsory in parliamentary and state sitting. (based on their attitude after last election – Sarawak/Perak )

5) No hope for helping the poor/rural bumiputra’s in getting better education and setting up business.

6) More Malays hawkers ceased to exist. (Penang)

7) Anwar Ibrahim as a PM is a no go for me because he is an opportunist and a politician. He did nothing when he is in power (except for starting the bribe culture in UMNO). He only says what people wanted to hear not because he wants to do it.

8) More land will be given to the minority and for ridiculous years. (999 years in Perak)

It seems like they are somewhat equal reasons for me to vote for PR. More incline to vote for PR if the corruption in UMNO is not addressed.

As for the constitutional changes (cons) it is just assumptions made by me because of the way PR MP’s behave after the last GE.

Nepotism in PR

PP : How’s your neck Dato’ Seri? I saw your photo.. That bad huh? How did it happened?

DSA : Its better now. Thanks for asking. The police did’nt hit me at all but somehow my neck, my back and my arm are hurting that much. Especially when i go to the hospital.

PP: You sounded like the villain in the movie unbreakable.. Anyway.. Congratulations on BERSIH 2.0, i think you will win the next election.

DSA: Thank you. Yes, I definitely think we will win since the rakyat are behind us.

PP: One question Dato, If you win and you be the Prime Minister, will your daughter be a Minister?

DSA : Of course, we need a manipulative mind to rule the country.

PP: Is’nt that Nepotism?

DSA : No no, its not nepotism, we call this meritokrasi.. Its based on merit. So my daughter has the capability to be the minister.

PP: How can you explain this to rakyat then?

DSA : No need to explain, they will just accept what I said. As long as I said to them this is meritokrasi then i think they will believed me.

PP: But Dato’ Seri..Nepotism is still a nepotism doesnt matter whether you call this differently or not. The principle is still the same. I dont want to vote for someone who does not have a principle.

DSA: This is when you are wrong. Nepotism is ok as long as you are doing it right. Just look at DAP.. They have Karpal Singh as chairman and his son as committee, Lim Guan Eng as Penang CM and Lim Kit Siang as Opposition Leader. You see for years DAP has done it and no one complaint. They must have done something right since no one in their party complaint.

PP: So you think when LGE was elected no one complaint because he is the son of LKS ah?

DSA: Yes, I think so. Anyway, Dont bring this issue again otherwise the rakyat will start asking questions like you do.

PP: No worries Datuk, your secret as a big whinger and a liar is safe with me.

DSA: Good!

Conversation between two people before the 9th July Bersih rally..

Datuk Am : Datuk Seri, I’m a bit worried la.. the agong said that we should not carry on the rally and discuss this with PM

Datuk Seri An : don’t worry laa datuk we still can carry on what… najib has offered stadium merdeka… have you applied for the rally permit?

Datuk Am : what permit? i thought we don’t need to.. i’ve post everything on the bersih website.. everything should be there.. the police should just hand over the permit to us…

Datuk Seri An: is that how it works in the bar council?

Datuk Am : yeh.. we are the rakyat… we are above the law!

Datuk Seri An: Yeh true… how about stadium merdeka.. have you asked them whether we can use it on 9th?

Datuk Am :  i called them and they said we can’t use it.. someone already booked and they are doing renovation.. i think its bullshit since i normally book futsal court few days in advance.. 4 days should be sufficient for me to book a stadium…

Datuk Seri An : why don’t you think of this earlier?

Datuk Am : no need.. the rakyat are so bodoh… they’ll follow us anyway… we continue to do rally on the streets and the world will see how brutal the government is

Datuk Seri An : Yeh yeh.. true… i think i’m gonna hit the hospital after the rally… just to show that i’ve been beaten by the police again.. you know like last time.. they shot me with HIV.. luckily my immune system is good.. i’m still alive till   now

Datuk Am : good thinking.. i wish i could do that.. you’re such a great actor!

Datuk Seri An : don’t worry, let me do the acting and i’ll support you from “behind”… you can be our next candidate for the next election…

Datuk Am : i don’t like sound of the behind but i would love to be the next candidate!
